The Last Rose of Summer

So, as some may know, CSUB SoloFestival is coming up in two weeks from tomorrow, and I have just now chosen my song.  Officially.  It took me 2 weeks, looking and learning 5 different Italian Arias, and I end up with a song in English - from Irish origin.  So from "Se tu ma'mi" to "Intorno all'idol mio" to "Amarilli mia bella" to "Delizie Contente" to "O cessate di piagarmi" to "The Last Rose of Summer" Crazy ain't it?  It's really pretty, and the only thing I really need to memorize is the words (:  It's beautiful, and I'm excited.  So here, be excited with me.


I'm also excited for retreat!  JASH leaves tomorrow in the evening, and we're all stoked!  Only lame part is we didn't get to make our blankets >:(  but it's alright i guess, we'll make them before the Conf.1 Retreat, where we will ALL be counselors!


Tomorrow is a teacher in-service day, so JASH also has no school tomorrow, so I will be watching Anastasia tonight, and sleeping in, and finishing packing tomorrow before I leave.  Oh, I can't wait for summertime.
