Hahahah yeah...and then I met Riley and Bailey! Their new foster kids...they're cute, but not as cute as little Stephanie! Anywhoo, after all the introductions, we went into the kitchen and started baking! They were like...puff pastries with this filling type thing (ream cheese, cool whip & sugar) and a scrumdiddleyumptious peach on top. YUM. But what was supposed to take 15 minutes ended up taking almost two hours. Here are those reasons why:
#1: Howard didn't know how to make the pastry, so he had to call Jaylen's cousin to figure it out, but she was busy, so we spent 10 minutes trying to decide how we were gonna make it.
#2: They were in the oven for 14 minutes, and we took them out but they were all oily and it didn't look right! So we took them off the rack and put them on paper towels to absorb all the cholestoral and heart-stoppers, and decided to put them back in the oven.
#3: We then decided to cut open the pastry so the insides get cooked! So that took up even more time...
#4: Messing with electric guitars, broken amps, Stephanie, and piano's is always fun (:
#5: I had to clean up the mess that Bailey made...even though Howard's mom didn't approve of me cleaning up their casa.
#6: Frosting the pastries! We got them done..and put the peaches. But when I went to take a bite of one, Stephanie decides to run up to me and grab my leg, causing the whipped filling to fall onto my hair and shirt. So I had to clean myself up so I wasn't Katy Perry in California Gurls. [Though I do love her.]
#7: We would have left sooner, but Howard had to find his "church shoes", and then we went skipping along - well, in the car - to Jenina's house, where we met C, who, yeah. Enough said. C? See? Sea? C?
When we go to Jenina's, she was very angry with us, because I was gone for 2 hours. Yeah, I got back to her house at 8 xD But she forgave us because we love each other so much! And we had cake: banana ice cream, red velvet, and Snickers Chocolate Cake! :D Even more yummyummyummygoodness! (Honestly, I think Jenina's trying to get us all FAT. Because she even sent me home with more cake!) Anywhoo, then we went outside and were laying out under the stars (: It was amazinglybreathtaking. And I even saw a shooting star! NO JOKE. I was just looking up at the sky, and ZOOM! There it went. *sigh* Unfortunately, the one person I told about it (besides Howard and Jenina) didn't believe me >:( Howard was skeptical at first, but Jenina said she saw it too, so we all made wishes, which we will never tell (:
We took dozens of pictures and had our venting circle, and fell asleep out there and finally went inside at 12:30am because it was too cold! Can you believe that? TOO COLD in Bakersfield. It's like an alternate universe! Once we were inside, we got ready for bed, then GG was on our list! And of course, church in the morning :D
I forgot my Saturday morning! Because that was bomb...I woke up at 5:45, went back to sleep, then got up again at 6:15 which was when I was supposed to be at Val's house for our TENNIS YARD SALE! But when I got there, I had Starbucks and donuts waiting for me so it was okay (; Anywhoo, we were selling things until 11 and we made $395! So out of 17 girls, 14 of our tennis sweatshirts are paid for, yippee! I also need to get crackin on our T-shirt design...shoot
Oh! Also, after the yard sale, me and my wonderful, beautiful, and loving family went to the Thai & American Buffet over by Burlington, and yeah. The waiter was...hahaha enough said (: The food was alright, kind of salty, but my dad told the manager who told the cook so if we go there again, or if ay of ya'll go, the food probably won't be salty anymore, cause you know, my family just has that kind of influence :D
Okay, well, off to do homework!
Adios my loves!
Oh wait! Here is my own personal picture to describe my Saturday:
