JENINA!

Yesterday's stat:
I can finally see the world now! I got my very first pair of glasses. ;) All along I thought I have somewhat of a perfect vision. I mean, I can see and whatnot, just not when the font is really small or when I'm in the back of the class. For you to have a better understanding, this is what led me to get my 2nd pair of eyes:
It all started when I went to take my permit test last month. I passed the written test, however, I did not past the eye test. I had some trouble reading the chart, so the lady gave me a second chance and led me to this eye machine. Sad thing is I also did not pass that test which led me to not getting my permit until I get my eyes checked. And so I went to the optometrist and issued me a pair of glasses. It took about 5 days until I got them though, but it doesn't matter because as soon as I tried them on, I was instantly blown away! I did not know that the world could be much clearer. I was...astounded. ;P Flashforward: I went back to the DMV that afternoon and got my permit, though I still had to wait in line for about half an hour or so. :)
& oh, to all the little kiddies out there, I recommend you go to the Insect Lore in Shafter. Lots of creepy crawlies that will either mesmerize or disgust you. Ha. But it's still cool. Admission is free, and hundreds of kiddie-insect-stuff-whatnot to buy. :)

Today's stat:
I went to Rowland Heights to visit my mom's friend. It was pretty cool; we went to the mall and ate lunch at this one cafe called El Diplomate Cafe. The food was okay. :P Ha.

Seeing how everyone else is doing songs:

  • "At The Sound" by Ike Ndolo :)
  • Covers by Boyce Avenue

One last thing:

I came upon this one banana poem, and I highly disapprove of it. See for yourself and be the judge of it.

"Banana Poem"

A long time ago, when the world was young Someone put some food on their tong They tasted the food, and thought it was nice Most fruit liked it - but banana's thought twice.
They held a meeting at quarter past eight Whilst the human's were getting home late They decided they didn't want to be eaten they said "No way, we're not going to be beaten"
So time went by, and human's got old Banana's got ready, for their prophets had told That soon shall come the dawn of war. Where humans will rule the earth no more.
The humans knew not of the evil banana's plans They made their cars, guitars and aluminum cans And the banana's began to take over the east While humans knew not, and kept having their feast.
But time has run out, no more hiding there can be Or else the banana's will kill George, you and me We must take up arms, and fight to the end Because, believe it or not, a banana is not a friend.

--The Anti-Banana Society--

That is all. Good night & God bless.

'kay bye! :D
