TODAY, I was sitting on the couch watching Bones - it was pretty interesting because the Dog Whisperer was on the show! Except it was really sad cause there was dog fighting - which I hate. That's animal cruelty ya'll. Anywhoo, so my dad comes in asking if I want to go to the lake and try out our Jet Ski, because the battery died and we needed to test it. So OF COURSE, I went! We start getting ready, grabing life-vests and water...most of the essentials, and we headed out to Lake Buena Vista. When we're halfway there, my dad realized that he left the key to the Jet Ski on the counter at home and we forgot the sunscreen! So we turn around and head back and I run in the house really quick and grab them. I come out of the house and put the stuff in the truck and toss the house keys to my dad, and then I turn back to lock the door to the house. But of course I have to run back to the truck because I had just given the keys to my dad. Silly me! Now we officially headed to the lake, prepared. But apparently not prepared for everything...

When we got there we brought the trailer out onto the ramp and put the Jet Ski in the water. Then we hopped on and started floating out towards the buoys. And guess what? We got as far as the dock. The dang machine wouldn't turn on! So we got off, hooked it back onto the trailer and tried to figure out what's wrong. Apparently the engine compartment flooded and now we gotta take it to the shop. Uber fun huh?
Tomorrow we take our boat out. Let's pray it all works out! :D
